Interoperability In Washington State: Let's Talk
In crisis situations, our emergency responders cannot always talk to each other. Learn what Washington State is doing to establish interoperability so our emergency responders from all levels of government and all jurisdictions can talk to each other as needed.
This nine-minute video is designed for you to use with your peers, policy makers and local and regional leadership to ensure all of your emergency responders can talk to each other across agency boundaries during crisis situations; from major disasters to those incidents than can and do happen in any community on any given day.

The State Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC) exists to further emergency response communications in Washington State. Being prepared in emergency situations is critical to the health, safety and well-being of every citizen in Washington.
