- Statewide Communication Interoperability Plan (SCIP) (pdf 2.9mb) The SCIP is the strategic plan that states the goals and objectives to align emergency response agencies across jurisdictions and agency boundaries to achieve interoperable public safety communications in Washington State. The Washington SCIP earned the highest rating in the nation during peer review.
- National Emergency Communications Plan The National Emergency Communications Plan (NECP) is a strategic plan that sets goals and identifies key national priorities to enhance governance, planning, technology, training and exercises, and disaster communications capabilities. The NECP provides recommendations, including milestones, to help emergency response providers and relevant government officials make measurable improvements in emergency communications over the next three years.
- 2009 – 2014 Washington Statewide All-Hazards Emergency Preparedness Strategic Plan (pdf 5.77mb) Washington State is a recognized leader in Homeland Security. This plan was created through the statewide all-hazards partnership known as TEAM WASHINGTON and focuses on strengthening our domestic security capabilities.
